Exhibit B: An invitation from a public university on California's Central Coast:
ear Slug Alum,Aloha!
It's time to kick off the summer in style at Forbidden Island Tiki Lounge in Alameda. All UCSC alumni are invited to join together for cocktails and catching up ... Forbidden Island (owned by fellow Banana Slug Martin Cate - Stevenson '95) will offer drink specials featuring Santa Cruz's own Sarticious Gin, with appetizers provided by the UCSC Alumni Association.
Forbidden Island (www.forbiddenislandalameda.com) is a recreation of a classic mid-century tiki bar, featuring exotic arts and crafts, waterfalls, vintage jukebox and more. Our cocktails are classic tropical recipes made with fresh squeezed juices and premium spirits. Forbidden Island has been featured in the SF Chronicle, Diablo Magazine, Sunset Magazine, KPIX's Eye on
the Bay, and more. Come see what all the fuss is about.... See you then!
I attended the latter event, and it was a hoot. Would enjoy lifting a solid gold bar though...
